Youth Arbitration Program


 
The second class of Youth Arbitrators graduated in September 2008.

The second class of Youth Arbitrators graduated October 9, 2007.


On March 29, 2007, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced the graduation of the first ever class of Youth Arbitrators. Sheriff Lott stated that the 21-hour training class was held from February 27 through March 20, 2007. A total of 19 citizens graduated from the training which will enable these citizen-volunteers to conduct arbitration hearings and determine guidelines the offender must follow for restitution and restoration.
