On March 29, 2007,
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced the graduation of the
first ever class of Youth Arbitrators. Sheriff Lott stated that
the 21-hour training class was held from February 27 through March
20, 2007. A total of 19 citizens graduated from the training which
will enable these citizen-volunteers to conduct arbitration
hearings and determine guidelines the offender must follow for
restitution and restoration. |
