Sheriff Leon Lott invites everyone to support Cops on Top of Doughnut Shops! The Sheriff stated that from Wednesday, October 5 through Friday, October 7, 2016 law enforcement will be collecting your donations to assist Special Olympics South Carolina.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and the City of Columbia Police Department will join forces at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shops located at Columbia, 6614 Garners Ferry Road, 110 Clemson Road (Clemson Road and I-20), 1200 Knox Abbott Drive, and Lexington at 5594 A Sunset Boulevard to help raise money for these wonderful athletes. Krispy Kreme has been a wonderful partner and 100% of monies raised goes directly to our local athletes for training, equipment, and travel.
Sheriff Leon Lott states that Richland County Sheriff’s Department is proud to be teaming up for such a great cause! Special Olympics South Carolina provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. By participating in sports, physical fitness and healthcare education programs, Special Olympics South Carolina athletes increase self-confidence and social skills, improve physical and motor skills, and have better success in leading more productive and independent lives.
