Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the arrest of two people in connection with the forced entry into the ATM machine at the BB&T Bank located at 8920 Farrow Road early this morning.    

Sheriff Lott stated that at approximately 1:30 AM deputies responded to an alarm at the BB&T Bank – upon arrival the deputies found that the back door of the ATM machine had been forced open and they found several of the tools that had been used to break-in near-by. Deputies began to search the vicinity of the bank and located Cotey Harris DOB 4-28-90 and Miquane Archie DOB 4-8-91 – both of whom have been arrested and charged with malicious injury of personal property. Deputies also located their backpack which contained tools used to break-in to the ATM machine and that investigators are currently looking into additional charges on a third suspect that may have been involved in the break-in/damage to the bank.
