RCSD seeks suspect for TFMV

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted for theft from a motor vehicle.   

On Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the 100 block of Alvina Hagood Circle, Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a theft from a motor vehicle at around 5:30pm. The suspect gained entry by breaking the rear window of the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse containing an iPhone (iPhone has since been recovered in Charlotte), wallet, identification, and credit card. The suspect used the victim’s card less than an hour later at 1028 Roberts Branch Parkway (Kroger) stealing over $1,000.00 in merchandise (captured on video surveillance equipment).    

The Sheriff stated that the suspect is described as a black male, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a black Adidas track suit, Adidas knit cap, and white tennis shoes; (video images can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/RCSDInvestigates please reference release number 0318-2822) The Sheriff is asking for assistance in locating and identifying the suspect responsible.
