RCSD Seeks Suspects for TFMV and Fraud

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance identifying two suspects wanted for theft from a motor vehicle and fraud. 

On Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Virginia College located at 7201 Two Notch Road, an unknown male suspect driving a dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee broke into two separate vehicles and stole the victims’ purses. An unknown female suspect later used stolen credit cards from the victims’ purses to withdraw funds from their accounts.

The Sheriff stated that the two suspects then committed the same acts on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Cracker Barrel located 2300 Legrand Road: the male suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole the victim’s purse and the female suspect used the victim’s stolen credit cards to withdraw funds.

The two suspects were captured on video surveillance (video images can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/RCSDInvestigates please reference release number 0317-2576 on the right hand side and images are also attached to this release) 

Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information about these incidents may call, email, or text Crimestoppers to receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
