RCSD Seeks Suspect for Burglary

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for burglary.

Sheriff Lott stated that the suspect broke into two separate businesses located in the same shopping center at 4760 Hardscrabble Road:

·      At approximately 1:45 AM on July 10, 2017, the suspect shot out the front glass door to Tokyo Grill with a handgun, entered inside the business, and stole an unknown amount of cash;

·      At approximately 1:45 AM on July 21, 2017, the suspect shot out the front window to Food Lion with a handgun, entered inside the business, and stole a cash register drawer. The drawer did not contain any money.  

The suspect was captured on video surveillance equipment (video images can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/RCSDInvestigates please reference release number 0717-2668 on the right hand side).

Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information on this case may call, email, or text Crimestoppers to receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
