RCSD Seeks Suspect for Larceny

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for larceny. 

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that at just after 3:00pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 187 Hearthwood Circle, Irmo 29063 a suspect stole two packages from the front porch. 

The Sheriff stated that the female suspect was captured on video surveillance video (still image below) stealing the packages and driving a black four-door sedan (no further description). The Sheriff stated that the suspect stole one FedEx package containing Sheri’s Berries, and another package from the United Parcel Service (UPS) containing a gravity globe; total value of the stolen items is $210.00.  

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the suspect could possibly be linked to additional thefts -- she’s described as a white female wearing black pants and a light blue jacket. The Sheriff is asking for assistance -- anyone with information about this crime or the identity of the suspect should call, email or text your anonymous tip to: Crimestoppers at 1-888-crimesc, or text “TIPSC plus your message” to CRIMES (274637).
