Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott released surveillance video today from the Sunoco Convenience Store located at 1203 Bush River Road which shows our victim inside the store prior to being murdered. ( The victim is wearing a white shirt and jeans – she enters and comes to the left of the frame and then waits in line) Sheriff Lott stated that as the investigation continues the hope is that the video will jar someone’s memory that may have been in the store with the victim or saw the victim with someone prior to her death. The victim entered the Sunoco four times between 10:15 PM and 10:30 PM and received change from the clerks on two of those trips. She was inside the store for a total of 10 minutes spanning the four trips into the store and the video released today shows her on her last trip into the store – also showing that there were other citizens in the store with her that may have seen someone with her. see the video here (wmv: 3.0MB)Anyone with information that could help solve this case is asked to call crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
