Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott seeks the community's assistance in capturing a suspect who shot a victim in the head. Sheriff Lott announced today that investigators need the community’s help in identifying a man who shot and killed a victim at his home. During the early morning hours of August 14, 2008 approximately 4:00 A.M. an unknown male kicked in the door of 310 Berkshire Drive Apartment #14 and shot the victim in his bedroom.
The victim's mother and her acquaintance were inside the home when shots rang out in her son’s bedroom. The acquaintance witnessed the suspect fleeing the house and describes him as a slender black male wearing a black shirt and Pants (unknown color) with a red bandana.
